Why does Zwolle want to measure air quality?
At present, air quality is determined on the basis of calculation models. The real local situation is unknown. By measuring these conditions and collecting data itself, Zwolle can investigate whether there are major differences per season, but also whether certain routes are cleaner than other routes. In this way, the municipality knows better where measures are needed. Or can they ensure that cyclists with respiratory diseases gain insight into the cleanest routes through the city. By participating in the project of the municipality of Zwolle residents therefore contribute to a better living environment for others. And for themselves.
